Environmental Efforts/Policy

Today, conservation of the environment on a global scale is a vital task. Chemipro Kasei, as a condition of its corporate existence and, at the same time, as a responsibility towards society, has established the ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) in its chemical business. We will continue to promote constant improvements, while aiming to become an "environmentally friendly company", by addressing as key management issues; its product assurance/responsibility, and environmental protection/pollution control, while ensuring the safety of the local community as well as our employees.

In order to fulfil its social responsibility as the leading manufacturer of UV absorbers throughout its entire business activities; from the development, manufacture, delivery and disposal of its products, Chemipro Kasei upholds the principle of "harmony with the environment", as an essential management target, while working to create an environmentally friendly company by complying with laws and regulations, and effectively and continually unfolding activities for environmental protection/pollution control. 

1. With our production bases adjacent to the Seto-inland Sea, we set and periodically review our environmental objectives and targets within a range economically and technically feasible, in order to reduce environmental burden, thereby improving our environmental conservation activities.
2. We take preventive measures against pollution, while complying with laws, regulations and conventions relating to the environment.
3. We strive for the reduction of environmental impact, through energy saving and resource conservation activities focusing on reduction and recycling of industrial waste.
4. While disseminating the company's environmental policy to its members, we promote the maintenance and enhancement activities of the environmental management system.
