Chemipro Kasei ("Company") may acquire personal information when required for its business activities, and shall take measures to protect such personal information as follows:

  1. The Company shall comply with laws and company rules regarding the protection of personal information.
     

  2. When acquiring or collecting personal information, the Company shall do so by lawful and fair means, and specify the purpose of use, while clearly indicating, notifying, or publicising it in accordance with the law to the person in question, provided however, that this does not apply to cases when it is deemed that such purpose of use is clear considering the circumstances of the acquisition, or when permitted by law.
     
  3. The Company shall take measures to prevent leakage, destruction, loss, falsification, etc. of personal information.
     

  4. The Company shall not use personal information, unless permitted by law, for purposes other than those specified in advance without the consent of the person(s) in question, or disclose or provide personal information to any third party. 
     

  5. The Company shall promptly respond to requests from the person in question to disclose or correct "the retained personal data" held by the Company.
     

＊The term "the retained personal data" means the personal data which the Company has the authority to disclose, correct, add to, or delete content from; to discontinue use of; to erase; or to discontinue provision to a third party, other than those whose known presence or absence from a database is likely to harm the public interest or other interests, and other than those that will be deleted within the period of less than six months.
