Chemipro Kasei Kaisha, Ltd. was established in Kobe City to manufacture and sell organic and industrial chemicals.

ISC Chemical Co., Ltd. was established as a joint venture company between Ishihara Sangyo Kaisha, Ltd. and Seika Sangyo Co., Ltd. to manufacture UV absorbers.

Takeuchi CP Kagaku Kaisha, Ltd. was established as a joint venture company with Takeuchi Mitsuji Shoten to manufacture UV absorbers.

Chemipro Fine Chemical Kaisha, Ltd. was established to manufacture UV absorbers.

Construction of Aioi Plant completed.

Chemipro Intermediate Kaisha, Ltd. was established to manufacture nitroaniline and para-Cresidine.

Absorbed Takeuchi CP Kagaku Kaisha, Ltd. for higher business efficiency (Presently Himeji Plant).

Absorbed Chemipro Intermediate Kaisha, Ltd. for higher business efficiency (Presently Part of Aioi Plant).

Obtained the international quality assurance standard ISO 9002 Certification.

Listed on the over-the-counter market.

To expand our business, ISC Chemical Co., Ltd. became a 100% owned subsidiary.

Absorbed ISC Chemical Co., Ltd. for higher business efficiency (Presently Akashi Plant).

Absorbed Toyo Wood Preservative Co., Ltd. for business diversification and stability (Presently Household Products).

Listed on the Second Section of the Osaka Securities Exchange.

Obtained the environmental management system ISO 14001 Certification.

Updated to ISO 9001 Certification.

Fukushima Research Laboratory was constructed in Takinemachi, Tamura-city in Fukushima Prefecture to expand our business.

Absorbed Chemipro Fine Chemical Kaisha, Ltd. for higher productivity (Presently Part of Aioi Plant).

Listed on the Second Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange, following merger of the Tokyo Stock Exchange and the Osaka Securities Exchange.

Construction of Fukushima Plant completed.
