The Household Products sector takes pride in its over 100-year history of wood preservation study. While pursuing enhancement of the durability of wood for long-term use, it has continued to carry out research primarily in the area of wood preservation and protection, including antiseptic treatment for electric power poles and railway sleepers for the former national railway, and launched various products onto the market since the early 20th century.
Today, we are rediscovering the advantages of wood, which was once replaced by other materials such as concrete during post-war industrialisation, as a material which absorbs toxic UV rays, noise and impact as well as working as a heat insulator. In order to capitalise on such characteristics and functions of wood, Chemipro Kasei further extends its activities to collaboration and joint-development with other non-wood material makers, to develop novel products that meet current needs, while paying due attention to the global environment.
We are committed to the realisation of products that satisfy our customers, while strengthening high-quality at low-cost under the concept “beyond wood, yet devoted to wood”.
We work on a daily basis to maintain the quality of our existing products, while striving to develop new ones. We also cultivate termites in our Osaka Plant.
